Learning Goal: Convert Percents into Decimals and Fractions (and vice versa) and find the percent of a number.
Step #1: Go to Math Dictionary for Kidsand look up the word "Percent". Play around with the “Percentage Bar” and move on.
Step #2: How do you convert between fractions, decimals and percents? Try this website and play with each of the 3 options for a few minutes. Click here.
Step #3: Time to fine tune those math skills. Convert percents to fractions! Get 5 problems right and move on. Click here.
Step #4: Now lets try converting percents to decimals! Get 5 problems right and move on. Click here.
Step #5: Forgot how to convert fractions to decimals? No problem, click hereto discover what you already knew . . . that the fraction bar means “divide”. You can move on after a couple of minutes.
Step #6: Curious how to find the percent of a number? Try this website, it helps you right through it. Try a few problems and continue to the next step.
