Where am I?
Assessment and Parent Communication
Assessment is an ongoing process that includes anecdotal records, and skill evaluation and observations through rubrics.
Additional communication might include: end of the unit letters containing individual progress assessments, unit rubrics, quarterly newsletters, e-mail newsletters, and / or telephone calls.
Report cards that reflect the student's progress in the Challenge class program's curriculum strands are completed and sent home at the end of the first and second semesters.
One conference will be scheduled with the parents/guardians of each Challenge Class student during the school year. Additional conferences may be held if needed or requested.
