Where am I?
AP Chemistry
If you look at my web page for Chemistry I, you will see I define Chemistry as the study of matter, energy and the interactions between the two. When a match is lit, what is going on at the molecular level? Where is that energy coming from? What factors influence that reaction? These are the kinds of questions that are at the heart of chemistry.

And whereas Chemistry I and Honors Chemistry serve as great survey courses for this study, AP Chemsitry takes this survey a step further... actually, AP takes it several steps further! Equilibrium, Acid-Base Chemistry, Redox, Electrochemistry, Thermodynamics and Colligative Properties are just a few od the more advanced topics we delve into quite extensively in AP Chemistry.

The AP Chemistry curriculum follows that of a typical college-level introductory course. The textbook we use is "Chemistry," Zumdahl & Zumdahl, 7th ed. You can click on the chapter titles at left to see some of the worksheets and labs we do, along with some useful instructional aides.
