We have started solving algebraic equations and all work must be shown in order to receive full credit. The kids will know the saying 4 and 3 you got to show me. There should be 4 lines in the solve and 3 lines in the check.

It is that time of second quarter!  We are at the halfway point of the quarter.  This is traditionally the time progress reports would be printed and sent home.  With our online gradebooks, all grades are fully accessible everyday.  Please remember to check your child's online grades!!!

On Monday/Tuesday we will be having a short quiz over adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers and then a lesson on multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. In class we will do the quiz and then pages 232-233 examples #1-3. The homework will be A: pages 234-235 #4-24 evens 43 & 46 or B: 5.3 Practice C Evens or C: 5.3 Challenge Practice all. On Wednesday/Thursday we will be working on dividing fractions and mixed numbers. In class we will work on pages 237-239 and do independent practice on pages 239-240 #1-15 odds. The homework will be A: pages 239-240 #10-20 evens, 25 & 28-34 evens or B: 5.4 Practice C Odds or C: 5.4 Challenge Practice all.
