Conceptual Drawings
Where am I?
Two years ago building level facility committees were formed in each school. The committees were comprised of parents, staff members, administrators and students.
Each committee was charged with reviewing the facility needs of the school. A district level committee reviewed all the needs and the master facility plan was updated. The conceptual drawings include the master facility plan as well as the projects proposed in Proposition 1 and 2.
Prop 1 and Prop 2 only address phase one of the master facility plan. Facility needs will continue to be evaluated and funded through the district’s dedicated maintenance fund, grants, private fundraising and other sources.
Please click the links below to review the conceptual drawings for each proposed Prop 1 and Prop 2 project. The drawings were created by an architectural firm. The Kirkwood school community is landlocked. Drawings needed to be created to determine if a large enough "footprint" existed at each site to meet the needs outlined by the facility committee.
Please NOTE the drawings are conceptual. In every construction project conceptual drawings are created and later modified to better meet the needs of students or to save construction costs.
